Hello!  I’m both excited and honored to join the KABC team as Community Engagement & Development Coordinator. Like many of you, I was educated and supported by KABC while caring for my parents in their elder years.  To lend my skills and ideas to make a difference throughout the state in the quality of care for seniors and their families is a work of the heart.

Let me help you get to know me until we meet or talk in person.  I grew up in Topeka and have lived in Kansas City for the last 20 years.  Some might say I have a very diverse work history.  I worked in a corporate environment, taught on the university level and owned my own business. I have also been involved in many community based organizations as a volunteer, program manager, event chair, fundraiser, executive director and board member. Whew!  I loved every minute of it and am looking forward to using it all to better elder care for you and your loved ones.

Expect to see me expanding our base of supporters across the state, raising awareness and educating communities about the importance of advocating for their family members and friends.  Quality care doesn’t happen without a vocal band of individuals who are actively investing in what’s possible.  You are those people and I can’t wait to meet you!
